Damascus Middle School’s Noah S. Participates in Virginia Beef Exposition Contest

On Friday, April 20, Damascus Middle School eighth-grader Noah S. traveled to Harrisonburg, Virginia to participate in the Virginia Beef Exposition Contest.  As a member of the Washington County 4-H Livestock Judging Team, Noah worked with eight other students to represent the county in judging livestock and identifying farm equipment, among other challenging tasks.  In spite of not finishing as high in the competition as he would have liked (Noah sets high standards for himself), this was a great experience and opportunity for him.  He says his favorite part of participating on the Livestock Judging Team is “getting to learn so much and hanging out with a great group of friends.”
