Damascus Middle School 4-H Members are County and District Champions

The Washington County 4-H Program offers several SOL-related project areas in which youth may participate.  These project areas include public speaking, dramatic reading, oral presentations, and 4-H "Share the Fun.”  On Saturday, April 14, students competed on the local level during the Washington County 4-H Activity Day at Abingdon High School.  County Champions were named in each category, winning the honor to represent Washington County in the District 4-H Contest Day on May 5 at Chilhowie High School.  Damascus Middle School students who were named both county champion and district champion were Emma B., Angel C., Claire H., Tahlor M., Maggie M., Alex S., Noah S., Molly T., and Jonathen W.!  Congratulations to these students!  Chanzy B. and Rylee S. also participated in the county activity day.  A special thanks goes to 4-H leader Mrs. Crystal Peek for her support of these students!
