Damascus Middle School Celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Week
National Random Acts of Kindness Week (February 13-17) is a time dedicated to making the world a better place through individual acts of kindness. Damascus Middle School decided to make DMS a better place by focusing on the many caring things our students, faculty, staff, and parents do every day. Guidance counselor Mrs. Kimberly Holmes encouraged us through a special announcement each morning and created a bulletin board to showcase our random acts of kindness on heart cut-outs. From holding the door, to helping pick up dropped books, to cleaning up the school, to sharing words of advice, the DMS family fulfilled the mission of making our world a kinder place!
