Damascus Middle School Students Named 4-H District Champions

Washington County 4-H members were given the opportunity to compete on the local level during the county-wide 4-H Activity Day held on Saturday, April 6 at Abingdon High School.  County Champions were named in each category, winning the honor to represent our county in the District 4-H Contest Day.  On this day, nine Damascus Middle School students were named District Champions in their respective categories!  Winners and their categories were as follows: Ashley D. in Natural Resources--Wildlife, Bryce L. in Foods—Food and Nutrition, Maggie M. in Share the Fun--Instrumental, Sadie M. in Dramatic Reading, Jaycie P. in Family Resources—Personal Appearance, Alex S. in Personal Development—Entertainment, Levi S. in Personal Development—Fishing, Amanda S. in Visual & Creative Arts, and Boone T. in Creative Arts—Models.  Congratulations to these students!
