Talent acts included instrumental, variety, drama, dance, and vocal. The youth were awarded points in the following areas: chosen material, talent, audience response, creativity, showmanship, and their costume and props. This program builds self-esteem, communication skills, and creativity, while giving members a chance to show off their special talents. Recipients of blue ribbons in sixth grade were Ryder H. and Khloe O. in Drama, and Karma B., Logan G., James M., Levi M., and Kyndra R. in Instrumental. Blue-ribbon winners in seventh grade were as follows: Autumn C. in Variety and Lydia R. in Instrumental. Eighth graders who received blue ribbons were the following: Emma G., Payton L., and Autumn S. in Dance, Brody T. in Drama, and Jacob H. and Levi P. in Instrumental. Aiden L., Emma L., Ethan M., and Melissa O. also participated in the program. Blue-ribbon winners may represent Damascus Middle School at the county competition in March.
