DAMASCUS MIDDLE SCHOOL
Damascus Middle School Students Awarded in 4-H “Share the Fun” Program Damascus Middle School 4-H members held their annual “Share the Fun” talent program during their regular December club meeting. Nineteen members from the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades performed. Talent acts included instrumental, variety, drama, dance, and vocal. The youth were awarded points in the following areas: chosen material, talent, audience response, creativity, showmanship, and their costume and props. This program builds self-esteem, communication skills, and creativity, while giving members a chance to show off their special talents.  Recipients of blue ribbons in sixth grade were Ryder Hicks and Khloe Orr in Drama, and Karma Bolen, Logan Griffin, James McCune, Levi Moretz, and Kyndra Rouse in Instrumental. Blue-ribbon winners in seventh grade were as follows: Autumn Clevinger in Variety and Lydia Reid in Instrumental.
