DMS 4-H members held their annual "Share the Fun" talent program during their regular December club member. Twenty-three members from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades performed. Talent acts included instrumental, variety, drama, dance, and vocal.
During "Share the Fun" each contestant had four minutes to perform in either an individual or team act. The youth were awarded points in the following areas: chosen material, talent, audience response, creativity, showmanship, and costume and props.
The 4-H "Share the Fun" program builds self-esteem, communication skills, and creativity while giving members a chance to show off his/her special talents. The blue-ribbon winners will represent DMS at the county competition in March.
Blue Ribbon Winners were as follows: in the Instrumental category, Maggie D., Rachel B., James N., Turner E., Jasper D., and Ryan M.; in the Dance category, Chloe R., and in the Combination category, Canyon D., Selah J., Kinzley D., and Lucy H.
